{"id":17437,"date":"2023-05-27T09:03:51","date_gmt":"2023-05-27T13:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conexion23.com\/?p=17437"},"modified":"2023-05-27T09:03:53","modified_gmt":"2023-05-27T13:03:53","slug":"eeuu-gobierno-alarga-hasta-5-de-junio-fecha-limite-sobre-la-deuda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/conexion23.com\/?p=17437","title":{"rendered":"EEUU: Gobierno alarga hasta 5 de junio fecha l\u00edmite sobre la deuda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La secretaria del Tesoro de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtve.es\/temas\/estados-unidos\/1307\/\">Estados Unidos<\/a>, Janet Yellen, ha informado&nbsp;este viernes al Congreso de que si no se alcanza un acuerdo que eleve o suspenda el techo de deuda, el Gobierno puede incurrir en suspensi\u00f3n de pagos el pr\u00f3ximo 5 de junio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/home.treasury.gov\/news\/press-releases\/jy1506\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">En una carta<\/a>&nbsp; al l\u00edder de la mayor\u00eda republicana de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes, Kevin McCarthy, Yellen ha elevado as\u00ed en cuatro d\u00edas la fecha que su departamento calcula para el&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtve.es\/noticias\/20230523\/claves-techo-deuda-eeuu-acuerdo-politico-suspension-pagos\/2447181.shtml\">fin de las reservas con las que cumplir con sus obligaciones de pago<\/a>, y ha&nbsp;insistido&nbsp;en reclamar a los legisladores actuar \u00ablo m\u00e1s pronto posible\u00bb para evitarlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>El Tesoro desembolsar\u00e1 en los dos primeros d\u00edas de junio 130.000 millones&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yellen ha recordado&nbsp;que su departamento tiene que desembolsar en los dos primeros d\u00edas de junio 130.000 millones de d\u00f3lares (121.165 millones de euros al cambio de hoy) pagos a la Seguridad Social, los veteranos y los beneficiarios de Medicaid, el programa de sanidad del Gobierno, lo que dejar\u00e1 las arcas \u00aben un nivel de recursos extremadamente bajos\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Y ese nivel, ha advertido, no permitir\u00e1 al Tesoro cumplir con obligaciones previstas en la semana del 5 de junio, como otro pago de 92.000 millones a la Seguridad Social y Medicaid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si el Congreso no logra aumentar el techo de deuda para la fecha l\u00edmite, ha subrayado la secretaria del Tesoro, las familias estadounidenses experimentar\u00e1n \u00abgrandes dificultades, se perjudicar\u00e1 la posici\u00f3n global de EE.UU.\u00bb y se levantar\u00e1n dudas sobre la capacidad del pa\u00eds para proteger sus intereses de seguridad nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las conversaciones entre los republicanos del Congreso y la Casa Blanca han continuado&nbsp;este viernes, sin anuncios oficiales de que hayan llegado a\u00fan a un compromiso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>El actual techo de deuda se alcanz\u00f3 en&nbsp;enero y es de 31,4 billones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La directora gerente del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI), Kristalina Georgieva, ha reclamado&nbsp;tambi\u00e9n este viernes un acuerdo cuanto antes. de llegar a un acuerdo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La secretaria del Tesoro de&nbsp;Estados Unidos, Janet Yellen, ha informado&nbsp;este viernes al Congreso de que si no se alcanza un acuerdo que eleve o suspenda el techo de deuda, el Gobierno puede incurrir en suspensi\u00f3n de pagos el pr\u00f3ximo 5 de junio.
