UU. por estafa a adultos mayores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cuatro de Cinco dominicanos<\/strong>\u00a0acusados por Estados Unidos de formar parte de una\u00a0<strong>red<\/strong>\u00a0que\u00a0<strong>estafaba a adultos mayores<\/strong>\u00a0se acogieron al proceso simplificado de extradici\u00f3n, al decidir entregarse de manera voluntaria a las autoridades requirentes.<\/p>\n<p>Los solicitados en extradici\u00f3n son:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-text\">\n<li><strong>Oscar Manuel Casta\u00f1os Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, de 33 a\u00f1os de edad<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edward Jos\u00e9 Puello Garc\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0(44 a\u00f1os)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gerardo Heriberto\u00a0<\/strong>N\u00fa\u00f1ez N\u00fa\u00f1ez\u00a0(41 a\u00f1os)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Joel Francisco Mathilda Le\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0o Joel Mathilda<\/li>\n<li><strong>Joel Jos\u00e9 Cruz Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, alias \u00abPaflow\u00bb (33 a\u00f1os).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Los primeros cuatro manifestaron\u00a0<strong>su decisi\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0este martes a los jueces de la Segunda Sala Penal de la Suprema Corte de Justicia.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a Joel Jos\u00e9 Cruz Rodr\u00edguez, a<strong>lias \u00abPaflow\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0(33 a\u00f1os), se le conoci\u00f3 coerci\u00f3n en una audiencia el viernes y se le conocer\u00e1 fondo en una fecha que est\u00e1 pendiente de fijarse.<\/p>\n<p>A los cinco se les acusa de cometer\u00a0<strong>fraude postal<\/strong>\u00a0y electr\u00f3nico, as\u00ed como de\u00a0<strong>lavado de dinero<\/strong>, en una\u00a0<strong>estafa transnacional<\/strong>, cuya\u00a0<strong>red<\/strong>\u00a0operaba desde un\u00a0centro de llamadas\u00a0en\u00a0Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y estaba dirigida a\u00a0personas mayores\u00a0en\u00a0Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>La organizaci\u00f3n, la cual est\u00e1 integrada por\u00a0<strong>m\u00e1s de una docena de imputados<\/strong>, fue\u00a0<strong>desmantelada<\/strong>\u00a0tras una\u00a0<strong>investigaci\u00f3n conjunta<\/strong>\u00a0entre las\u00a0autoridades dominicanas\u00a0y estadounidenses, en la que particip\u00f3 el\u00a0Bur\u00f3 Federal de Investigaci\u00f3n (<strong>FBI<\/strong>) de los\u00a0Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cuatro de Cinco dominicanos\u00a0acusados por Estados Unidos de formar parte de una\u00a0red\u00a0que\u00a0estafaba a adultos mayores\u00a0se acogieron al proceso simplificado de extradici\u00f3n, al decidir entregarse de manera voluntaria a las autoridades requirentes.
