{"id":48185,"date":"2025-11-10T08:21:38","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T12:21:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conexion23.com\/?p=48185"},"modified":"2025-11-10T08:21:38","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T12:21:38","slug":"cientificos-prueban-en-espana-un-sistema-de-vision-artificial-que-logra-dialogar-con-el-cerebro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/conexion23.com\/?p=48185","title":{"rendered":"Cient\u00edficos prueban en Espa\u00f1a un sistema de visi\u00f3n artificial que logra \u201cdialogar\u201d con el cerebro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investigadores del Laboratorio de Neuroingenier\u00eda Biom\u00e9dica de la Universidad Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez (UMH) desarrollaron un sistema de visi\u00f3n artificial capaz de comunicarse directamente con el cerebro humano, el cual fue probado con \u00e9xito en dos personas ciegas, obteniendo resultados prometedores.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El estudio, publicado en la revista cient\u00edfica Science Advances, muestra los avances de una nueva generaci\u00f3n de neuropr\u00f3tesis visuales que permiten un di\u00e1logo bidireccional entre la tecnolog\u00eda y el cerebro, marcando un hito en la investigaci\u00f3n sobre restauraci\u00f3n de la visi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El profesor Eduardo Fern\u00e1ndez Jover, director del Instituto de Bioingenier\u00eda de la UMH y l\u00edder del proyecto, explic\u00f3 que el sistema consiste en una peque\u00f1a matriz de electrodos implantada en la zona del cerebro encargada de procesar la visi\u00f3n, la corteza occipital, la cual permite enviar y recibir se\u00f1ales nerviosas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cGracias a esta tecnolog\u00eda, podemos no solo mandar informaci\u00f3n al cerebro, sino tambi\u00e9n escuchar lo que responde. Este intercambio nos permite ajustar la estimulaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica para generar percepciones visuales m\u00e1s precisas\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Fern\u00e1ndez Jover.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Una visi\u00f3n funcional mediante tecnolog\u00eda cerebral<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El sistema utiliza una c\u00e1mara externa integrada en unas gafas especiales que captan las im\u00e1genes del entorno. Luego, esa informaci\u00f3n se traduce electr\u00f3nicamente en patrones de estimulaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica enviados al cerebro, reemplazando as\u00ed la funci\u00f3n natural de la retina.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gracias a este proceso, los participantes del experimento lograron reconocer formas, movimientos y algunas letras, demostrando que es posible alcanzar una visi\u00f3n funcional \u00fatil para tareas b\u00e1sicas como la orientaci\u00f3n o la lectura de caracteres grandes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa visi\u00f3n no es un proceso pasivo. Es un intercambio constante entre el ojo y el cerebro. Este estudio demuestra que podemos replicar parcialmente ese di\u00e1logo natural\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el investigador.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Un paso prometedor, pero con cautela<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">El estudio fue realizado en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Hospital IMED Elche e incluy\u00f3 la implantaci\u00f3n de un diminuto dispositivo de apenas cuatro mil\u00edmetros de lado, con cien microelectrodos individuales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fern\u00e1ndez Jover destac\u00f3 que, aunque los avances son esperanzadores, todav\u00eda falta mucho por investigar antes de que esta tecnolog\u00eda pueda aplicarse de forma generalizada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEste es un paso importante, pero debemos avanzar con prudencia.
