La nota hace menci\u00f3n de un caso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la acusaci\u00f3n presentada por el fiscal Warlyn Tavares, una<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>v\u00edctima, cuyo nombre se hizo reserva, conoci\u00f3 a&nbsp;<strong>Ruth Selenia Rosario Joaqu\u00edn&nbsp;<\/strong>en una red social, lo que llev\u00f3 a que viajara a Rep\u00fablica&nbsp;<strong>Dominicana<\/strong>&nbsp;para encontrarse con ella. Sin embargo, un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s de tener relaciones sexuales, Rosario Joaqu\u00edn inici\u00f3 un plan para despojarlo de m\u00e1s de 32 millones de pesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cLa trama criminal consisti\u00f3 en obtener fondos bajo enga\u00f1o y coacci\u00f3n del canadiense, extendiendo el chantaje por correos electr\u00f3nicos y mensajer\u00eda instant\u00e1nea, usando identidades ajenas de instituciones p\u00fablicas como privadas\u201d,<\/strong>&nbsp;detalla la procuradur\u00eda en una nota de prensa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Ministerio P\u00fablico ha calificado la acci\u00f3n cometida por los imputados como una violaci\u00f3n de los art\u00edculos 265, 266, 405 y 400 segundo p\u00e1rrafo del C\u00f3digo Penal Dominicano, as\u00ed como de los art\u00edculos 14, 15, 16 y 17 de la Ley 53-07 sobre delito de alta tecnolog\u00eda, que sancionan la asociaci\u00f3n de malhechores, la extorsi\u00f3n, la obtenci\u00f3n il\u00edcita de fondos, la\u00a0<strong>estafa<\/strong>\u00a0y el\u00a0<strong>chantaje<\/strong>\u00a0a trav\u00e9s de medios electr\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El procurador fiscal titular de Puerto Plata, Kelmi Duncan, destac\u00f3 la importancia de que las personas comprendan los riesgos existentes en las&nbsp;<strong>redes sociales<\/strong>&nbsp;y la responsabilidad que conlleva su uso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEn la era digital, las&nbsp;<strong>redes sociales<\/strong>&nbsp;se han convertido en una parte integral de nuestras vidas.
