Ana Desueza agradece al Consejo Nacional De La Persona Envejeciente (CONAPE), el apoyo brindado a trav\u00e9s de los a\u00f1os para seguir adelante en la ejecuci\u00f3n de esa importante obra de velar por los envejecientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad la Fundaci\u00f3n Don Jos\u00e9 cuenta con 140 miembros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los envejecientes desempe\u00f1an un papel importante como l\u00edderes, cuidadores y consejeros, sin embargo tambi\u00e9n son muy vulnerables y muchos caen en la pobreza, padecen quebrantos, quedan discapacitados o sufren discriminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el a\u00f1o 2003 los envejecientes cuentan con esta importante instituci\u00f3n y disfrutan de muchos beneficios, entre ellos, Asistencia m\u00e9dica, Donaci\u00f3n de medicamentos, Alimentos crudos, Visitas domiciliarias, Kits de higiene, Actividades recreativas, Charlas educativas, Jornadas de nutrici\u00f3n, Suplementos nutricionales, entre otras.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Fundaci\u00f3n Don Jos\u00e9 celebr\u00f3 en la ma\u00f1ana de este mi\u00e9rcoles 11 de octubre en San Pedro de Macor\u00eds el D\u00eda del Adulto Mayor.
