La\u00a0Polic\u00eda Nacional, a trav\u00e9s de la\u00a0Oficina Central Nacional (OCN) de INTERPOL Santo Domingo, arrest\u00f3 en el Distrito Nacional a \u201cSoni Pepa\u201d, un ciudadano alban\u00e9s de 40 a\u00f1os requerido por la justicia de su pa\u00eds por\u00a0tr\u00e1fico internacional de drogas.<\/h5>\n
Soni Pepa est\u00e1 vinculado a un\u00a0cargamento de 11 toneladas de coca\u00edna, de las cuales\u00a0600 kilogramos fueron incautados en R\u00f3terdam, Pa\u00edses Bajos, entre el 7 y el 8 de noviembre de 2020. Tambi\u00e9n se le acusa de financiar la adquisici\u00f3n de otros\u00a010 kilogramos\u00a0de coca\u00edna en esa misma ciudad.<\/h5>\n
El arresto, que tuvo lugar la tarde del mi\u00e9rcoles 3 de septiembre, se llev\u00f3 a cabo en cumplimiento de la\u00a0Notificaci\u00f3n Roja No. A-11907\/8-2025, emitida por Interpol a solicitud de las autoridades judiciales albanesas.<\/h5>\n
Ruta de la droga: de Paraguay a B\u00e9lgica<\/h5>\n
De acuerdo con informes internacionales, el cargamento parti\u00f3 desde el\u00a0puerto de Villetas, en Paraguay, con destino al\u00a0puerto de Amberes, en B\u00e9lgica. Pepa ser\u00eda parte de un\u00a0grupo delictivo transnacional\u00a0que operaba en\u00a0varios pa\u00edses de Europa y Sudam\u00e9rica, especializado en el tr\u00e1fico de grandes vol\u00famenes de droga.<\/h5>\n
Durante su detenci\u00f3n, a Pepa se le incaut\u00f3 un\u00a0pasaporte alban\u00e9s, as\u00ed como\u00a0documentos de origen italiano,\u00a0cinco tel\u00e9fonos celulares encriptados\u00a0y una cantidad no especificada de\u00a0dinero en efectivo, lo que refuerza las sospechas sobre su papel dentro de una organizaci\u00f3n criminal sofisticada.<\/h5>\n
Ser\u00e1 deportado a su pa\u00eds<\/h5>\n
El detenido fue trasladado a la\u00a0Direcci\u00f3n General de Migraci\u00f3n\u00a0para su\u00a0posterior deportaci\u00f3n, en coordinaci\u00f3n con INTERPOL Santo Domingo.
