La legisladora hizo un en\u00e9rgico llamado al\u00a0Gobierno y al Congreso Nacional\u00a0para atender con urgencia las deficiencias del sistema de salud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, O\u2019Neal expres\u00f3 su frustraci\u00f3n por la falta de respuesta a los pacientes con enfermedades catastr\u00f3ficas y asegur\u00f3 que seguir\u00e1 alzando la voz \u201cpor dignidad y por derecho\u201d. Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la fallecida,\u00a0Loren Judith Hern\u00e1ndez, luch\u00f3 hasta el final buscando ayuda incluso fuera del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa pobreza s\u00ed mata. Se est\u00e1n muriendo los dominicanos por no poder atenderse. En muchas provincias no hay onc\u00f3logos, ni equipos para hacer una simple mamograf\u00eda\u201d, denunci\u00f3 la legisladora, se\u00f1alando que la falta de acceso a alimentos de calidad, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica oportuna y tratamientos especializados sigue cobrando vidas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-text-align-justify\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">O\u2019Neal critic\u00f3 directamente al presidente\u00a0Luis Abinader, se\u00f1alando que los esfuerzos anunciados por el Gobierno \u201cno se reflejan en la vida de los dominicanos\u201d y que el dinero existe, pero no llega a quienes m\u00e1s lo necesitan.
