{"id":50144,"date":"2025-12-19T07:27:35","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T11:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conexion23.com\/?p=50144"},"modified":"2025-12-19T07:27:35","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T11:27:35","slug":"fallece-el-expresidente-de-ecuador-rodrigo-borja-a-los-90-anos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/conexion23.com\/?p=50144","title":{"rendered":"Fallece el expresidente de Ecuador Rodrigo Borja a los 90 a\u00f1os"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rodrigo Borja, expresidente de Ecuador entre 1988 y 1992, falleci\u00f3 este jueves a los 90 a\u00f1os, un exgobernante que \u00abestar\u00e1 para siempre en la memoria del Ecuador\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el jefe de Estado, Daniel Noboa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abHoy este pa\u00eds honra su legado\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Noboa en su cuenta de la red social X.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No han trascendido las causas del fallecimiento de Borja, quien desde hace varios a\u00f1os estaba retirado p\u00fablicamente de la vida pol\u00edtica del pa\u00eds, y se hab\u00eda dedicado, especialmente, a escribir la \u00abEnciclopedia Pol\u00edtica\u00bb, una obra de consulta que re\u00fane y explica conceptos, teor\u00edas y categor\u00edas de la ciencia pol\u00edtica contempor\u00e1nea, escrita con un enfoque acad\u00e9mico y divulgativo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Borja, fundador y l\u00edder hist\u00f3rico de la Izquierda Democr\u00e1tica, referente de la socialdemocracia ecuatoriana, fue un f\u00e9rreo defensor de la integraci\u00f3n latinoamericana y el respeto a la soberan\u00eda nacional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque Borja (quien antes de ser presidente fue diputado) gobern\u00f3 en un per\u00edodo complejo caracterizado por dificultades econ\u00f3micas y tensiones sociales, su administraci\u00f3n se distingui\u00f3 por el respeto a la democracia, la libertad de expresi\u00f3n y el pluralismo pol\u00edtico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00abCon profundo pesar expreso mi sentido p\u00e9same por el fallecimiento\u00bb de Rodrigo Borja, escribi\u00f3 en X el expresidente Guillermo Lasso (2021-2023), antes de se\u00f1alar que Borja \u00abfue un hombre integro, dem\u00f3crata, coherente y estadista que honro el servicio p\u00fablico y la institucionalidad del Ecuador\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Expres\u00f3 su esperanza de que el legado y aporte a la historia de Ecuador por parte de Borja \u00abpermanezcan en la memoria de las futuras generaciones\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Academia ecuatoriana de la Lengua tambi\u00e9n extendi\u00f3 su nota de pesar por el fallecimiento de quien fue miembro numerario de la corporaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rodrigo Borja, expresidente de Ecuador entre 1988 y 1992, falleci\u00f3 este jueves a los 90 a\u00f1os, un exgobernante que \u00abestar\u00e1 para siempre en la memoria del Ecuador\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el jefe de Estado, Daniel Noboa. \u00abHoy este pa\u00eds honra su legado\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Noboa en su cuenta de la red social X.
